Five years ago I was delivering some of my company's highest-stakes contracts. We had grown from five people to more than twenty in nine months and I was responsible for bringing in hundreds of thousands of dollars a month. Around the same time my mom arrived at my doorstep walking with a cane, which I had not seen coming, and I became her caretaker during the unprecedented pandemic. I was sixty pounds heavier than I am now, barely sleeping, and every Sunday night I'd lie awake wracked with anxiety about the week ahead because of what was happening between people inside that company.

So I left. The first thing I did was start reading again, and meditating, and taking time for my body and my mind and my spirit. Slowing down enough to pour into myself is what laid the foundation for how I take care of myself now.

What I understood later is that the workplace carried a lot of the same toxic dynamics I grew up with, and that is exactly why I couldn't heal from them while I was still inside it.

I began attending retreats in Costa Rica each year and each one opened a deeper layer of my spiritual practice. On the most recent one I didn't get the big aha I've come to expect. It arrived subtler and more gradual, which is what happens once the work becomes part of your everyday life rather than something you go do in a yoga shala in the mountains once a year.

Then came what felt like the biggest heartbreak of my life, and it made me question everything I believed and understood to be true. In the wake of it I had to find my way back. I had to learn to trust my own intuition, to not sacrifice myself and instead choose myself, and to adopt an energy of receptivity, to open myself up to receiving the vast abundance and love I deserve.

My intuition and energetic grounding are a core part of how I move through the world and an essential part of how I work with you.

Before I build anything, I want to know a little bit more about you. Not your whole history, just where you are right now and what you keep circling. This is especially true for Human Design reports. Then I read your chart through that lens, because the same placement means something different depending on what a person is living through. I like to tailor its contents to your unique situation so that what I share is resonant and immediately applicable.

Then I sit down to write, and before I start I ask for help. I ask my spirit guides, my dad, and my other loved ones to support me in seeing what will be useful to you. So what comes back to you has both things in it. The practical read, your type and your strategy and your authority, what your design says about how you're built to make decisions, with Awaken questions running through it so each section gives you something to sit with and not only something to know. And the other part, the part that comes through rather than from me, which tends to go straight to the tension you already knew was there.
